Yael is a dedicated registered nurse with a clinical background in medical-surgical nursing, mental health nursing and nursing research. She earned her BSN from the University of Vermont and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston, with a focus on population health and health policy. Her research explores loneliness, social connection, mental health and pain outcomes among older adults. Yael is passionate about providing high-quality, trauma-informed mental health care that supports holistic healing and well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, hiking, and traveling.
